I was flabbergasted when I received a "courtesy" call today to let me know I have a balance on my account. Mind you, I **just** got the bill last week after insurance had paid. The bill is not due until July 17! Ridiculous. I don't need 'courtesy' (i.e. collection) calls.

I waited to write this review in hopes that issues with my case would be reviewed. My birth experience with this hospital was absolutely devastating. I had a son born with issues that could have been avoided had I been given better pre-natal care. He now has to suffer the rest of his life. I reached out to several people including team leads, a department manager, and people even higher up than that. I was told I would have my call returned. That never happened. Very, very disappointing. I have always loved this hospital, however I will not seek care through this organization again. I really encourage you mommas to look for a different hospital for pre-natal care & delivery even if there is a drive. Coming from a mom that wishes more than anything that I would have.

Delivering here was absolutely amazing. This was my third child other two were delivered in rockford il in 2013 & 2017 comparing these experiences monroe qas the best by far! Staff was 100% friendly and had a genuine care for me and my newborn. RN morgan (night shift) was my favorite. She helped me through labor and was present for the birth of my baby boy. She went out of her way to keep me as comfortable as possible. After being home for a day or two we even recieved a card from the staff with hand written notes from each staff member we came in contact with during our stay!!! I would rate them a 100/100! Thabk you Monroe staff for making the stay a pleasure!!

It would be worth driving 45 minutes than trusting the pediatric department. If you call and leave a message with the nurse you never get a response and we have been in each month for the last 3 and get told today shots were needed 2 months ago.
