I gave birth at this hospital this year and can say it’s been one of the most amazing experiences. Both my baby’s pediatrician and my doctor are providers at more than one hospital, so I’m not going to focus on how amazing they are and instead will focus on why Timpanogos is specifically wonderful.

The staff have all been amazing, especially my nurses. Each has taken time to talk with me and make sure they understand before responding. They are phenomenal listeners and just kind in general. Each nurse let me explain my situation and ask as many questions as I wanted and answered thoughtfully and with care. They make you feel like you’re the only person they have to focus on even though you know they are taking care of many patients. Melanie was particularly an amazing listener and gave great suggestions and help and I’m so grateful I was able to meet her.

I also had a great experience with the financial advisor Erin. We spoke over the phone and I left her a message- that day she made sure to return my phone call so we could speak. She was extremely knowledgeable about my insurance and was able to help me out so much.

My husband and I also had the opportunity to do a couple of prenatal classes here at the hospital and loved them! Coping with labor was my favorite because it really helped me feel confident in my body’s ability and to trust in myself. Cheryl was our teacher and she was so open minded, supportive, and an absolute gem to work with. She even gave us her number and told us to call her if we had any questions during our labor or we needed help with something. She is truly spectacular.

We are so grateful for the staff and care here at Timpanogos Hospital.

My wife gave birth here the other night. Everyone was very good and kind. They did everything to ensure our son was healthy and took great care of my wife. They checked on us every couple of hours and made sure everyone was okay and comfortable. We have no complaints!

UPDATED-I spoke with Art and this gentleman was very helpful and responsive in solving my son's billing issue. He had very good advice in that it's best to call the Hospital billing department directly to see what can be worked out. I still don't agree with the debt collector but my son and I are thankful this matter was resolved satisfactorily with the hospital.
************

Beware of your billings through this hospital if you are visiting Utah and have to use out of state insurance. They won't acknowledge an arrangement with the insurance carrier for adjusted amounts and hassle you for the full amount even after you have paid in full what your carrier says you owe. They submit the balance to NPAS a debt collector. Letters were sent with documentation and no response. Simply ignored. It's wrong and it's overcharging for their services. Don't get sick in Utah if you can help it. I've had to help my son pay it because he can't afford it and because I don't want him to have a bad credit rating because of this fiasco.

My wife had a Ultrasound appointment at 3pm. We arrived 15 minutes early and waited for over an hour. The Ultrasound was on an asymmetric difference in a breast compared to an Ultrasound from last year. Possible cancer? We were very stressed. The receptionist blamed the wait on the E.R. Then the receptionist went home to have a wonderful Thanksgiving. Unacceptable!!! Over an hour and a half. Waited on nurses and Doctor Jackson. Radiologist.
If Timpanogos Regional Hospital needs more staff then don't schedule appointments you can't keep or stay on time for. Especially for
my wife.

Dr. Waterburton is absolutely amazing. After multiple ER visits at multiple hospitals I’m glad I finally came here and found her. She’s the only person who took my symptoms seriously and did everything she could to help. After struggling for several weeks I can finally say I’m at peace of mind with my diagnosis and have finally been helped. She gave me exact follow up instructions and was thoughtful. The entire staff is extremely friendly and made me feel comfortable. I wouldn’t recommend anywhere else.
