Mother in law repeatedly asked for blankets and something to drink she did not receive. Let her lay with her I. V. Leaking all night after she reported it. Just don't feel like she got the level of care they will be charging her for.
I would like to talk to the one in charge of the Hospital. I don't want to put it where everyone can see it this affects just a few People who are SUPPOSED TO BE PROFESSIONAL at what they do. I Love our Hospital but one bad apple will spoil the whole bunch. Just Saying
Do not under any circumstances take your loved one to this hospital for any reason, especially not for the alcohol and drug detox program. Look for help anywhere but here if you value the life and safety of yourself or loved one. If your loved one experiences high blood pressure or heart problems they will not be medicated or treated properly for it. My fiancee went in totally healthy except for alcoholism and was in ICU fighting for His life less than 10 hours later. They had a big meeting and told me they figured out what happened and he would be o.k and it would not happen again. My fiancee got detoxed and left 7 days later fine and healthy. He eventually began shoplifting alcohol at stores because I didn't trust him with money. I found out about his drinking and he agreed to go back for detox again. This is where the real nightmare began. The little Miss Jessica, detox director, know it all, 22 years old fresh out of college, rude, with a habit of misplacing a person's prescribed suboxone until confronted with it and according to her Queen of the Universe, decided she would get the doctor, young Dr. Bleibel, older brother is a doctor there also, to do some really shady stuff. They kept my fiancee 3 days, on the third day I noticed a missed call from her. I called back and she said your fiancee is on his way to a rehab facility in Elizabethtown and there is nothing you can do about it, this is the way it is and being that you have no power of attorney there is nothing you can do to stop it. I told her she could have at least called me first because there was a rehab in Bowling Green with better Google reviews. She told me that's the way it was and Elizabethtown was on its way to get him. I left my job in Beaver Dam and ran 120 miles per hour all the way there, I was there in 12 minutes just in time to witness a nurse trying to get him to sign papers. I said hell no, and got him quickly out of there. They had him so medicated he was falling down. He was completely lucid, able to walk and in his right mind that morning. She had him drugged with Dr. Bleibels help just for this occasion. She was so insistent on Elizabethtown it makes me think she is getting a financial kick back from them because they are hurting for money because no one wants to go there from the low Google reviews and horror stories on the internet about them. It has a score, much like this hospital of 2.3 and the facility I wanted for him was 4.7 with no horror stories. In the old days, you could sell a bad bill of goods and no one new to you would know until it was too late. Not anymore, with the internet your reputation precedes you. I have been reading about a seemingly new phenomena occurring in hospitals called medical kidnapping, even if healthy over age adults in their right minds inside hospitals where doctors and staff completely take over without court orders to do trial studies for pharmaceutical companies or sometimes plain spite if the patient or patients family says something to make them mad or asks for a transfer to another facility which is supposed to be a guareented right of a patient. There are cases in Illinois and Minnesota of getting court orders of people with physical illnesses and claiming they are mentally incapable when the patient has NEVER had a history of mental illness, just for money or spite. Little Miss Jessica, know it all narcissist is one such person, along with Dr. Bleibel to try this, they did on me and my loved one. I noticed my fiancee was the only one in detox in the whole facility whereas there where numerous people in there the time before. Maybe word is traveling about her, I know the nurses can't stand her, they were actually nice. A ICU nurse told me to not trust her the time before, I just didn't realize the extent until this time. She is too young and immature to hold a job like this, her age doesn't give her the wisdom and common sense to deal with people in this type situation. She needs to be fired and replaced by someone with more experience in this field and more ethics. Do not go here.
The greatest personnel ever. The doctors, nurses, nurse assistants, dietary, respiratory therapists, physical therapists, patient relations personnel, housekeeping ( hope I didn't leave anyone out) are the most caring, kind, joyful people you would ever want to take care of you. I love these people and appreciate the way they took such good care of me.
Had a deviated septum repaired, the staff was courteous kind and genuinely seemed to care. When I got home with all the paperwork there was a card that the staff that took care of me signed
It may not seem like a lot to some people but the fact that they did that was just heartfelt
