I would not recommend bringing a loved one here for any procedure that requires aftercare. My boyfriend had to have major orthopedic surgery after a horrible motorcycle accident and the nurses in the trauma unit were wonderful but the aftercare has been so poor that I have to only give this one star. On two occasions his nurse from the trauma department did not call back for days. The worst was when he ran out of prescription painkillers and he called on Sunday for a refill. He got a call back Monday that they would be getting with his doctor. He called again on Tuesday and did not receive a call back. It took 4 calls to the hospital for his nurse Melissa to call back on Wednesday. So essentially after months of being on pain killers he sat in agony until Wednesday. Melissa stated protocol response was 24 to 48 hours and apparently weekends don't count. Also the reason given was there was a change in treatment where they essentially swapped out his pain medications to a different medication and he was given no explanation as to why the change in treatment. I don't believe caring for a patient is having them sit and be in pain from Sunday to Wednesday for a simple refill and to make a drastic change in the pain management without consulting with them on their current condition. The difference that I saw in my father's care after an orthopedic injury where he went to a different hospital and the care my boyfriend has received leaves me speechless. However once again the nurses at the trauma unit deserve 5 stars but the experience we have had trying to communicate regarding aftercare leaves me forced to only leave 1 star.

Amazing staff and beautiful facilities. My mother had a brain tumor removed here and the staff was extremely professional and accommodating and updated us every step along the way. I couldn't have asked for a better experience and team to help my mom and our family through such a stressful time. They did an excellent job!

So many reasons not worth babbling about. But the light will shine one day. I wish you the best. That’s all I can say.

My Grandma has been here for 9 hours in the waiting room and no one seems to care. They say they call people based on severity but we have seen multiple people come and go that are less severe as her. I bet we could leave and go to another hospital and get seen faster than if we waited here. Never coming back here again!

I’ve been waiting to be seen for nearly 2 hours! If I could rate 0 stars I would. Attitude from the check in station right when I walked in to ask for help! Then the nerve of this wait. There is no excuse and I want to highly recommend to NEVER come here! I will not return. I’m so upset and disappointed!
