University Hospital of Brooklyn ( Downstate )

I have had excellent experiences at Downstate including 2 cancer surgeries. I totally trust their doctors to do the right thing. I have found the staff there polite and helpful with positive attitudes and I have been treated at some of the best health facilities.

GO ELSEWHERE!!!!!!! I promise you will regret coming to this hospital for care! Nurses ASLEEP at the station! They almost killed my grandmother she refused food for over 2weeks, was coughing up blood and is suffering from dementia yet they refused to feed her intravenously or even attempt to find out what caused the bleeding! She wasn’t even receiving fluids! Shut this place down

Bad experience with this hospital. Went to three different departments and had to register three separate times for the same hospital. The staff isn’t on the same page and seem very unorganized. The hospital is totally under staffed. Seen other patients waiting for hours. Glad I’m leaving NY!!!! Wouldn’t recommend this hospital to anyone. I’ll rather get on the train to head to a hospital in the city before I come back here.... ✌

Worst hospital ever very dirty less staff to much security less snack machine no food for the people saying with love once nurses got attitudes they kick people out instead of curing them less examination machine no showers
