We’ve been in the Emergency Room for 9 hours and still have not been admitted into a room. This is highly unprofessional and I would not recommend anyone to come here. If you are understaff then hire more people but for me and my ill wife to be in the waiting area for this long is uncalled for. In this time all you’ve done is drawn blood and check her pressure every two hours which is going to be the same because you haven’t done anything. It took you 8 1/2 hours to give her pain meds.
The nurse care is average... very concerned i met with zero doctors to discuss my wifes well being going how not knowing anything saddens me. Even though I reached out several times to the front desk and the nurses...
Literally waited over an hour I went back to the front to ask for my time to be seen the guy nurse aide in the front at the registration said they took me off their waiting list because they ‘thought’ I had left ... they saw me sitting right infront of them the whole time!!! Man I get it they’re busy, but they need to treat patients with a little more respect and dignity. I just left I had a real bad food poisoning and they didn’t even see me. Next time I should listen to my instinct and gone to providence.
Saved my son's life. Excellent Ortho Dept. All trauma teams , ot, pt, trauma IUC. Excellent! The bed aod very helpful. The hospital AOD was excellent helpful checked up on us. Dr. Adler his team the best but DR.Gonsalez-Trevizo you just can't compare. He was, is by far the best excellent Ortho Dr. UMC has.
If half a star was an option I would definitely rate this hospital accordingly. HORRIBLE admissions staff with complete LACK OF EMPATHY. This is the first hospital we have ever had to wait 2 HOURS in a secondary waiting room just to be seen at the ER! a nurse even made the statement "how long has he been waiting to see a doctor?" After she noticed my Grandpa had heavy bleeding due to a recent TERP surgery. She added by saying "I'm very sorry they should have attended to him right away." Very very disappointed.
