This is specifically for the Cardiac Floor post-surgery. Some of the nurses there are wonderful, but one of them in particular is TERRIBLE. This nurse knocked over a drain, causing my mother pain, which was an accident, but she didn't even apologize. She was cold, and unwelcoming, and displayed incompetence. She showed little/no concern for my mother's condition and was consistently RUDE. The food there is average for a hospital (bad), and the general staff are friendly. They charge for parking. Would not recommend to anyone, if you can avoid it, there are much better hospitals in the area.

I gave birth here four years ago and it was the best birthing experience of my life.

This is a mixed review. I came here for a colonoscopy. The doctors and nurses were very attentive and helpful. The prep, procedure and recovery rooms were clean and well lit. My procedure was quick and painless. What was not painless was the billing. I was told that the anesthesiologist accepted my insurance. They did not. The 'registration' clerk told me she had had checked my insurance and that I would receive a discount if I paid up front what the insurance would not cover. When I received the explanation of benefits (EOB) from my insurance company, the clerk had over billed me for the amount that was disallowed by the hospital's contract with the insurance company. The insurance company said I should not have paid what the clerk asked and that the 'discount' was a deceptive pressure tactic. The insurance company will not intervene, the hospital has my money and I cannot get a refund. DO NOT EVER sign anything, or pay ANYTHING, to this hospital before your insurance provider processes your claim. This hospital cheats!
============================================
A follow-up: After prodding by me and my insurance company the hospital 'discovered' that I had been overcharged and issued a full refund. The anesthesiologist also submitted a claim to my issuance and was paid by the insurance. I pushed my rating up to 4 stars.

A very clean and pleasant place. The staff was friendly and helpful. My good friend was receiving treatment and they were very happy. The rooms were very spacious and comfortable.

The hospital is great. ER was slow but I was really too sick to notice and slept a lot. My problem with this hospital is the nasty nasty cafeteria food and the employees that work in cafeteria.
