I was seen this afternoon in the emergency room, at 19 weeks pregnant.. having extreme abdominal pain and lower back pain. I come in, check in, and give a urine sample. Then given an ultrasound for the baby. Great, all fine and dandy. The staff up front, very friendly.. I was then put into a room where I waited for a doctor for 2 hours. No one came in, no one asked me what was going on, no blood work was done, no fluids were given, no Doctor physically checked me WHAT SO EVER. After waiting for 2 hours, someone finally comes in and says "Your urine is fine. Baby looks good. You're good to go." Are. You. Kidding. Me?!? So, the reason for my concern for me coming in.. I'm still having the pain, it has not subsided whatsoever.. and I'm literally pushed out of the door? This is the most unprofessional place I've ever been in my life, and trust me when I say I will HAPPILY drive the extra miles to NOT have my child in this joke of a hospital.

My experiences in the ER have gone well. The cancer center nurses and staff are beyond awesome. My surgery experiences have been great. The staff in surgical prep is amazing, though sometimes, overwhelmed with a lot patients and they handle it well. One complaint. The new "music" in the surgical prep area. Please make it stop. Seriously. It sounds like music suitable for a funeral viewing. Picturing your own funeral as you're getting prepped for surgery and anesthesia is beyond unsettling.

I had to visit this hospital three times in the last week, two were follow up visits and each time I was seen almost immediately. The doctor and nurses I encountered were over the top friendly and very knowledgeable. Extremely pleased with my experience.

I usually don't have a problem with this place but they put in a self use to check in at the ER. This takes even more time to check in.

They do not look at your wrist band to see what not to do or give you. They don't know their patients past history at all.
