The best VA facility we have been to. Always attentive to my husband's need. The purple team and Dr. Hoover are the best. Two stints with doctors that come from the U of M. Wait time is similar to a civilian doctor's office. It is easy to contact the doctor through my healthevet web site and they are prompt with their answers. I wish I could go there.

Great doctors and nurses. Wonderful and caring staff. Very dedicated to their patience. Never had any issues.

The VA here is more of a facility to train U of M students. Service is hit or miss, Radiology Department is great except reception.

Many departments you have to listen to the staff gossip about other patients (HIPPA?)

Long delays, lost records and denial on the part of the staff when their wrong, along with an attitude.

Your treated as though you should be thankful, they are seeing you at all.

Orthopedics is the worse, unable to find my MRI record, refused to call my primary Doctor whom sent me to them for needed Surgery. Told to come back 30 days later.

Never seen the actual Doctor assigned, 2 months later, told to late for surgery, leg should heal on own and asked to lift my leg, and given a knee brace.

Complaining, of pain 10 range, denied pain medication other then aspirin family or IB family. Nothing useful.

Over two months later and assigned Therapy, I demand to see and actual Doctor assigned, along with a new MRI or Ultrasound.

Ultrasound shows need for surgery and the quad muscle torn from the knee, no worse no better per se.
Ultrasound Department was great, except reception.

Know dealing with Orthopedics, as they are in Duck in Cover mode, CYA
Again unable to speak to the actual Doctor. Seeking options.

Lost files, Refused Communications between Departments. Departments are each their own attitude. Delayed, Delayed times. More attitude then Basic expected service. Doest feel like a Hospital and no one appears happy to serve in select departments, hit or miss.
