I recently discovered that the Fort Wayne VA Hospital made the decision to take down our nation's colors to be replaced by the LGBT flag for gay pride day. First off, our military is not a dam social club. There are no special groups any better than another when the S*** hits the fan, we all bleed red, we fight and die as soldiers not for some dam political agenda. In my view, this administrator needs to resign. I gave twenty hard years serving this great nation. I served with both gays as well as straight individuals. The gays I served with never wanted nor ask for special recognition or favors. They kept their personal lifestyle of choice to themselves which is where it needs to remain. This Political correctness that has been allowed to infiltrate this nation has got to end or our country and our military will not survive. Lastly, the VA hospital is a facility for treating those who have received injuries serving this great nation, not an organization to promote a political agenda.

I have been very pleased with the services and assistance given on my behalf by Dr. Apuri and her staff. Amy, the dental hygienist from the dental clinic does a great job. The continuing efforts to improve hospital appearance is a plus. The wait times were often very long. However, the wait times today have been shortened immensely. I encourage those responsible to keep up the great work and many thanks for your hard work. On behalf of all veterans.🇺🇸

This VA took down our nations flag to fly the rainbow flag! My husband, & many, many others gave years of their lives ensuring our freedom. While many others have given their lives! I find it completely disrespectful that it would be taken down. Where the US flag flies, freedom is found.

BEWARE VETERANS: This VA hospital has some very serious issues. They chose to take down all our service flags and put up a rainbow flag in their place. If you are a veteran then this VA hospital has spit in your face. They are a disgrace to our nation and has disrespected you. Your health care is not a priority here.

I don't care if you want to fly a rainbow flag or not but taking down the American flag and the flags of the four branches of our armed forces is disrespectful and wrong. You are a VA hospital not a platform for political statements. Why don't you focus your time and resources on helping our veterans instead of making political statements. Whoever runs this hospital is a disgrace and should be removed immediately!
