Let me first say that not all the nurses are horrible here. There are some very sweet nurses, but others are rude. I am a pretty understanding person, but it is day 5 being here and the lady that brings me my food is nicer than some of the nurses here. I asked for paper towels they don’t even put it in the dispenser. My doctor was really sweet when I was pregnant and now I’ve been waiting for two days for my son to be circumcised. I don’t feel like a priority when people forget I am here. I’ve asked nurses to bring me things and they never do. I know it’s busy but this is your job. I had a nurse not even willing to help me after my c section. I have cried so much laying in the hospital bed because these people here are not always welcoming. I am already emotional, but some of these people do not make it any better. This hospital did not provide as much as a drink for my fiancé who is my baby’s dad as long as we have been here. There is no lactation consultant. No one talked to me about how to wash my son, care for him, or give me tips on breastfeeding. At times I felt like a burden. The longer I sat here the more this upset me about this place. Everyone is not horrible here. I WROTE OUT A BIRTHING PLAN. & the nurse refused to see it. It was the most simplest plan ever. But she told me “I don’t even want to see it” how freaking rude is that!

Went to the ER this morning... the staff was lethargic and uncaring. All they asked about was my first name. Did not ask for any more details, did not take vitals... had me wait for 14 minutes, until they called me to the front desk. Then they finally asked about why I’m there, during the Questioning of my info, the employee wanted to have a side conversation with another employee about meatloaf, and the western sizzling in Dunn. This is not how an intake at ANY hospital should ever be. An hour later, I’m finally taken back for my vitals. I told the nurse of my disgust so far with the lack of professionalism. She did not care, and even forgot to take my temperature( and instead put a false temperature of 98.9 in my charts to cover her mess up). I then told another charge nurse shortly after about the issues in front of the entire ER waiting room. He spoke to a supervisor, and maybe the employees will be reprimanded. I don’t know. But when I did get called back, I was once again called by my first name instead of my last name or whole name. Then when I got out in my room ,I had the doctor take my temperature which was a 98.1... not a 98.9. I probably won’t go back, since it’s an hour drive for me. The professionalism was terrible. NOT AT ALL the way a hospital should be ran.

While the doctor we saw in the ER wasn't by any means an endocrinologist, she listened to me and took care of my daughter the best she knew how. They saw how poor my daughter's condition was when i ran in carrying her. We didn't go through waiting of any sort; They started tending to my 4 year old right off the bat. The only thing we waited for was test results from the lab. They did great and my daughter is feeling MUCH better. Thank you ER team!

All of the doctors and nursing staff are extremely knowledgeable and helpful. The level of care and compassion that my daughter and I received was incredible beyond words. I delievered my child prematurely via c section after failed labor progression with life threatening complications and they handled the entire process with a very high level of expertise, calmness and attention to detail. They have even gone as far as to make arrangements for me to stay with my daughter until she has gained enough weight to be discharged. I VERY HIGHLY recommend this hospital for labor and delivery.
