If you can take your pet anywhere else please do. This place is expensive and very unhelpful. They are nice upfront but the moment a real “problem” arises they won’t help. I read the bad reviews but I figured for just a regular checkup that they would be fine. I was wrong. We adopted a new cat last week and took him to them to get him checked out. My fiancé took the cat and said everything they did to the cat they did in another room so he did not witness it. This triggered an alarm for me since every other vet I’ve ever gone to has at the minimum done the shots in front of you. So now I think that there’s no way we can prove they even did any of the things they charged us for. Less than 24 hours after taking him to see them we noticed worms in his poop. I know the fecal test they do is not 100% accurate so I expected them to help. Well when we called back they told us that since the test came back clean there’s no way he had worms when they saw him and he got them from our other cat (who they saw just a month prior and was fine). They would not lead us come back to have him seen unless we paid another $130 (which is ridiculous in and of itself for a regular exam) and wouldn’t even recommend to us how to treat it. So now here we are 3 days later still not knowing how to treat it and trying to get into another vet but can’t afford it because they took all of our money and didn’t help. Our other cat has now been acting off and needs to be taken too. We have kept them isolated from each other but with worms it doesn’t matter if still could have been transferred to our other cat if it was fleas. Overall we are now in a very awful situation of pretty much choosing which cat to take to another vet to have checked, leaving the other one untreated. Only other option is to return the newly adopted one which is not fair to both us and him that we could have to give up our new cat after dropping $130 on that vet after all the adoption fees and everything else (so like $250 total now) because of this vets negligence and selfishness for money. All of this trouble over something as simple as worms. Just go somewhere else and save yourself the heartache.

Warm and welcoming staff. My dog wasn’t a fan of going to the vet until I switched to Village. He loves to go and you can feel the love they have for all their furry patients! We took our cat in for the first time, both pets got their annual shots and exams. I was able to drop them off and run errands, they noticed my dog seemed a little stressed this time and they realized he wanted his cat near him so they moved the cat crate by him! I won’t take my fur babies anywhere else! Thank you Village Vet!!

One of my birds got hurt last night and I called after hours in hysterics; the vet tech helped me calm down and they scheduled me in the next morning to take care of him. I ran a little late (around ten minutes) getting to the appointment and they were very understanding. My bird was quickly seen and the veterinarian was extremely knowledgeable and friendly and did a lot to relieve my worries. The total cost of the exam and medication was less than a hundred dollars. This is a very good vet and was a great experience. I will be returning for avian vet needs in the future. Thank you!

We were visiting Broken Arrow in 2017 and our big fur baby was attacked by two dogs, one injuring his ear. We called Village Vet Animal Clinic in a panic and they were so compassionate and even stayed open for us to get Charlie in. He ended up needing an emergency surgery, but Dr. Setser and the entire staff were wonderful, not only with Charlie, but also his traumatized parents! We’re forever grateful for the kindness shown to us.
