Doctor was terrible came in in 10 minutes made a diagnosis and didn’t come back. Till being discharge 6 hours later. No questions no answers. Spent 7 hours for nothing. Left almost same as came in. If weren’t going to investigate why have infection, and why my other symptoms are coming from. Then let me leave right after. No reason to be there so long if not doing anything for me. Nurses were nice. Get real doctors !
Had to bring my mom to the ED just before New Years Eve and am happy with the service she received from nurses, doctors and everyone in between. Everyone was attentive to her needs. She ended up requiring surgery and I couldn’t have asked for better service.
Great staff! Friendly. But I spent 11 hours in the emergency room, although they admitted me to the hospital. You should never have to wait that long. I am really upset about this. I was hungry, tired and sick.
Lack of empathy must be the first requirement to get a job at this hospital. The nurse's have an inability to communicate with you. I have never felt so helpless and disrespected. Most people clearly hate working here. I was pregnant and they did not ask me before doing a chest x-ray! I found out a few hours later I was pregnant! They should have checked my pregnancy test before the x-ray! When I complained about getting the x-ray I was basically told to chalk everything up to bad luck and quietly suck it up. I'm tired of hearing those platitudes said to women. It's not always purely good or bad luck that determines your fate. Everyone should speak up and demand better care. There is a reason why this hospital only has a 2 out of 5 stars. Avoid avoid avoid!
One of the nurses in the ER think she is so smart that everything is funny. I explaining that I am dizzy, that have this feeling of fainting and she is just repeating "that you want to faint" ...and laughing. I was mentioning that the room was smelling like iodine that if maybe the sink can be whipped with alcohol, she is so stupidly hilarious. She takes two wipes of alcohol and she is like "you wanna smell alcohol"? And handed it to me like if I'm supposed to snore it. That's how smart is at the ER. (Everything is funny). The guys that took my vitals seems very hilarious too. One was implying that I might have the flu, the other one just laughing all the time and making jokes about blood pressure. Is a pity. What you put yourself in your hands when you have symptoms that you don't know why you have it and the people who supposed to treat you have no seriousness. What a joke for health care practitioners.
