Been here about 6 times in the past month. I'm literally dying from fecal compaction. Can't even walk a block without feeling like I'm going to pass out. They just keep prescribing me laxatives that don't work. This place is responsible for my coming death. And i don't have transportation elsewhere. Thanks for nothing death shore
Friendly staff and nurses and doctors. Honestly 10+ better than ludington hospital. I recently had surgery and i was so impressed with how i was treated. And how fast my pain was managed. Caring staff who even called the day after surgery to see how i was doing!
Update: I've been back to the er at this hospital twice now in the last 2 months. Just so impressed! Great care, friendly, and really good with me. I was in extreme pain and they were very busy and understaffed. However you could not even tell....the nurses were rushing around yet they were level minded and still above and beyond with treatment and care if I could give them 20 stars I would. I've been to ludington hospital and hands down manistee is winning. Award winning care. My pain was managed appropriately and timely. And I just want to say NURSE GREG? I THINK WAS HIS NAME.... he was probably one of the best nurses I have ever encountered in my life. Thank you so much for taking care of me when I was miserable.
My mother is currently in this hospital, I'm not saying by any means that's it's a bad hospital. There are however some issues with patient care. Don't expect the nurse or who ever is in your room to listen to you or validate any concerns you have about the medication they are giving. So far they have given my mother 3 medications she does not need. They are insisting she is diabetic..first let me say the only reason my mom is here is because of an accident. She's not old and have dementia or anything like that. The doctor here has not contacted her primary care physician yet. Even though me and my mom have repeatedly told them shes not diabetic!!!!! They have their typical excuses as to why they want her to take it...so why do hospitals do this?????
And the patient care tech in my moms room earlier today. Snotty and attitude and she's a student of all things!!!! She needs to re think her career choice.
Dr Bennett and too many nurses to name oh and anesthesia are awesome up on 3rd floor. Thanks for taking such good care of me! You all rock!
I had my blood drawn and had an amazingly short wait. I loved they had the wait time listed in the waiting area TV screens - which was just a few minutes. The staff was very friendly and my blood draw went very smoothly. Great job!
