A couple of days ago I was hit by a car while going through a cross walk. The car ended up running over both of my feet and ankles, and I was ambulanced to South Bend hospital. They took X-rays of my feet and the doctor told me there were no broken bones. I was sent home with merely a set of crutches and them telling me to rest up. I was in so much pain that I felt that I needed a second opinion, so I decided to go to Astoria for a CT scan. The results showed that I had broken bones on BOTH my feet, and that the right foot would possibly need surgery depending on how it heals, along with the risk of necrosis. I now am referred to a specialist for further assessment next week, and am in medical boots to stabilize the ankle joint. I understand that sometimes X-rays can be less conclusive than a full CT scan...but it really bothered me that they treated me like everything was good to go, when something was very seriously wrong. Whether it was an error on the radiology technician or the doctor viewing the X-rays... my health could’ve been waaaay more compromised than it already is possibly going to be. Very disappointed. I really hope they do better in the future.

This is a small community hospital, but they provide mighty care. A family member was brought by ambulance and was promptly attended to. No crowded, long wait. The staff were attentive, kind. Couldn't have been more pleased. Support their auxiliary.

I had surgery here to get my gallbladder out and hernia repair. Everything went well. They treated me great. The surgeon, Dr. Outfield takes his time with you and cares. My son blew his knee out and another time cut his hand so bad he needed to go to the ER. They helped him in a timely manner and treated him well. The nursing staff have always been great, they are down to earth and don't ignore you. I have no problems going to this hospital and would recommend it. It is a small hospital, but they've never had a problem treating my family.

Waiting for 5 and a half hours for the ER when having abdominal pain is ridiculous. 3 people had gotten there after me and left before me. All I do is wait. Only one doctor can read a CT scan in the whole place

No help at all waste of time and money went in on a Sunday not a sole in the place still took them 3 hours, had severe back pain and they didn't give me a place to lay down to put my feet up had to stand the whole time and I left because it was to painful to stand anymore do yourself a favor and drive another 50 miles to the next hospital were you can get actual help
