Breach Description
The Hutchinson Clinic, P.A., based in Hutchinson, Kansas, experienced a significant data breach between December 19, 2022, and December 21, 2022. This breach led to unauthorized access to sensitive patient information. The compromised data includes a wide range of personal and medical information such as names, contact information, dates of birth, Social Security numbers, driver’s license numbers, health insurance information, medical record numbers, medical history, diagnoses, treatment information, and physician names.
Upon detecting suspicious activity on December 21, 2022, Hutchinson Clinic promptly initiated an investigation with the help of third-party forensic specialists to secure its network and understand the extent of the breach
