Updated Care Support Pages
We continually monitor changes in medicine to ensure our topics are accurate and up-to-date. In the following documents, we made medically significant revisions, added new medical information, or removed outdated medical information. While medically significant changes are listed here, documents that have minor revisions, such as editorial or consistency changes, are not listed.
- Sensory Processing Disorder (acc4343): We revised language about who evaluates sensory processing disorder.
- Your Health: How to Safely Store and Get Rid of Opioid Pills and Patches (abr2095): We revised language about how to dispose of leftover opioid medicine. We clarified that community take-back programs are the preferred method of disposal and that opioid medicines should only be flushed if a take-back program isn’t available or if the medicine’s instructions specifically say to flush it.
